On December 2, 2015, Inez Southwell, 92, said goodbye to her earthly home in Oklahoma City.

She was born May 22, 1923 in Caddo, OK to Oscar and Ruby Smith. A natural caretaker, Inez began caring for family at an early age, starting with her siblings and eventually her own children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing and traveling with her husband.

Inez was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: D.S., Junior, Jake and Jerry; and sisters: Nina and Jean.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 74 years, Trady Southwell; sons, Johnny and Donald Southwell; grandchildren: Wesley, Victor, Alyssa, Grant, and Shelby; great grandchildren: Justin, Joey, Kaitlyn, Donovan, Elizabeth, Erin, and Emelia; great-great grandson, Colin; brother, Wayne; and sisters: Gail, Kay, and Pat.

Visitation will be held 11am-8pm on Saturday, and 8am-8pm on Sunday. Celebration of Inez’s life will be held 10am Monday, December 7 at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel.
