Regina Lou Smith, 68, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away September 10, 2019. She was born December 21, 1950 to Ted and Velma Kirklen in Oklahoma City. Regina fought a 2 year and 9 month battle against lung cancer.

She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and so much more. Regina was happily retired from the City of Del City. She loved crafting, sewing, gardening, shopping, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving husband Johnie Smith, son Adam Smith, daughter-in-law Madeline Taomia, daughter Kelly Zahed, son-in-law Freddie Zahed, granddaughter Hadley Lou Zahed, a host of loving family and friends, son Joseph Smith and his family.

Special thank you to The Stephenson Cancer Center at OU Medicine, particularly Dr. Mohammad Razaq and RN Jessica Suarez. Additionally, thank you private nurses Sharon Marshall and Scarlett Eldridge.

Visitation will be held at Ford Funeral Service on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 9:00 am -5:00 pm and Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 9:00 am -1:00 pm.
