Margie Faye (Myers) Graves
Sep 10, 1925 - Apr 13, 2011

She is gone from our lives now. She bore a love and maternal instinct so strong and
compelling that to someone looking on, it must have seemed a force of nature. To her
children and grandchildren it was simply a birthright that we took for granted. As we
grew we came to understand that it was the source of both our comfort and our
strength. Mother provided that rarest of things; a love that was constant, faithful and
unwavering; she was a living manifestation of God's love.

We go forward now each for a while profoundly alone, yet eternally bound together as a
part of the same immense heart. We will move into tomorrow thankful for her life and
the knowledge that we were blessed to have loved her and doubly blessed to be loved
by her.

Margie Faye Myers was born in Denison, Texas on September 10, 1925 to Elizabeth
and James Smith Myers. She was married to Benny Emery Graves in 1941 and was
his faithful and loving wife until his death in 2008.

They are survived by three children, Ben L. Graves of Norman, Rick Graves of Houston and Linda Glidden Stewart of Moore and four grandchildren, Darren and Matt Graves of Norman, Bradley Glidden and Sunny Nedrow of Moore and their spouses and children. Also surviving are her brother, James Myers of Pottsboro, Texas and sister, Doris Baulch of Wichita Falls, Texas.

Services will begin at 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 15, 2011 in the Chapel of Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook Street, Norman, Oklahoma followed by a private graveside service.  Services will be under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home.  Family and friends wishing to do so are welcome to join us to celebrate Mom's life on Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Havenbrook Funeral Home.

Online condolences may be made at www.havenbrookfuneralhome.com.

We thank all of you who share our love for mom and mourn her passing with us,
particularly our beloved aunt Dotty and our second sister Brenda. To the good hearts
who have cared for mom since dad's passing our sincere gratitude for your love and
compassion.
