Laverne C. Deal, 84, passed away Tuesday, April a, 2008 in Norman, Oklahoma. He was born November 10, 1923 in LaDelle, AR to Homer and LaDelle (Higgins) Deal.

Laverne was a retired carpenter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He will be missed by all that loved him. Laverne is survived by three sons, Jim Deal and wife Martha of OKC, David Deal and wife Evelyn of Silsbee, TX and Charles Deal and wife Annette of Chandler, OK; two brothers, Gene Deal and wife Ruth of Norman and Bob Deal and wife Janette of Monticello, AaR; one sister, Julia Seman and husband Russell of New Franklin, MO; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rita Mae; one son, Raymond; one sister, Ouida; and one brother, Mickey.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P. M., Friday, April 4, 2008, in Resthaven Memory Gardens, under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
