Bobby Joe Cobb died February 13, 2016 in Purcell at the age of 77 Years 10 Months 15 Days. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:30 PM, Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel with Pastor Louis Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at the Red Oak Cemetery east of Noble under the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Bobby was born March 29, 1938 east of Lexington to Frank and Doxie (Bennett) Cobb. He was raised and attended school in the Red Oak/Spring Creek area. Bobby, a long time cowboy, married the mother of his children, Molly Caylor in San Manuel, Arizona. He worked in the Copper Mines for 18 years, before he moved back to Oklahoma and became a welder. Bobby and Lois have been together for the last 20 years and he enjoyed horses, roping and  attending rodeos.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Doxie Cobb; brother, Billy Cobb; sisters, Margret Cline and Patti Carrig.

Survivors include his spouse, Lois (Harrison) Cobb; sons, Randy Lee Cobb of Japan, Michael Joe Cobb of California, Lonnie Glen Cobb of Purcell, Ronnie Wayne Cobb of Purcell; sisters, Wanda Clinton and husband, Earl of San Manuel, Arizona, Walcie VanWinkle of Noble, Oklahoma; (7) seven grandchildren; aunt Naomi Mitchell and husband, Daivd; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
