Thomas 'Tommy' Walton Palmer, age 53, of Newalla, OK, was born December 25, 1959, in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was the son of Walton Lee & Trudy Dorothy (Pietrowicz) Palmer. He left this life on Saturday, September 7, 2013, in Newalla, OK.

Tommy was a diesel mechanic at Red Carpet Charters for 22 years until his retirement. His hobbies included fishing, playing cards, tearing down and building back small engines, watching OU football and Thunder basketball. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, relatives and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and Debora, mother of his children.

Survivors include 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Joe & Lauren Palmer, Harrah, OK, Chris & Tiffany Palmer, Yukon, OK; brother, Craig Palmer, Newalla, OK; 3 grandchildren, Kiercy Palmer, Carter Palmer, Emmery Palmer and many other relatives and friends.

Services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, September 13, 2013, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Newalla, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
