Now with Peggy forever, Earl Leroy Short, 87, of Norman OK passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016. 

Earl was born on December 20, 1928 in Stuart, Iowa to William and Carrie Short.  Earl worked as a Truck Driver for over 50 years, was a member of the Moose lodge and loved going to Lake Thunderbird and spending time with Peggy. 

His Love, Georgia “Peggy” Jolls preceded him in death in 2010. 

Earl is survived by his daughter, Sandi Kruse and her husband, Roger; son, Roland Short and his wife, Janet; 5 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; one sister, Brylee; Peggy’s children:  Barbara McClure-Mize; Bobby Jolls and partner, Rosemary Barnes, Rick Jolls and wife, Ronda; Frank Jolls and wife, Eliza; 5 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren. 

Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 10:00 am at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in, Norman, OK.  Services are under the care of Havenbrook Funeral Home.
