Kenneth B. Dodson, 95, of Norman passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015.  He was born, December 28, 1919 in Dallas, Texas to William and Etta May Dodson.

Kenneth joined the United States Army and retired as Lt. Colonel. He dedicated thirty years of his life to the army. During this time, he served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam as an artillery field officer. For his hard work and dedication, Kenneth received numerous awards and medals, including two bronze stars.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Gladys Imogene Dodson, and two sons, Mike Dodson and Rick Dodson.

Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Cheri) L. Williams, of Norman, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Shea L. Tippens and husband Sam, and Shannon Ho and husband Steve; four great grandchildren, Jaycie L Tippens, Kalli M. Tippens, Sullivan B. Ho, and Cambelle G Ho; and Kenneth’s second daughter, Jeanne A. Dodson of Santa Monica, California.

An intimate family graveside service will be at 3:30p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norman, Oklahoma.  Condolences may be shared at www.HavenbrookFuneralHome.com
