Charles Duane Snow age 71 of Lexington, passed away Monday, April 1, 2019 at Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada after a brief illness. He was born July 1, 1947 in Purcell, Oklahoma. Charles was the youngest of six children born to Coleman Snow and Mabel (Sanders) Snow. Charles grew up in Lexington and graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 1965. After high school he Charles moved to Oklahoma City, lived with his sister and worked at Robinson Steel.

On Feb. 21, 1968, in Purcell, Oklahoma Charles married the love of his life, Dolores Baker. Together they made their home in Lexington and raised three children, Brian, Gena and Jason. Charles worked most of his life in the construction industry. He first worked with concrete, then with all facets of building. He retired in 2017 after 23 years with R. F. D. Construction in Sulphur as one of their construction superintendents.

While his children were growing up, Charles enjoyed coaching their little league teams. Charles and his family also spent countless weekends at Lake Arbuckle, where they and other families with children enjoyed camping and fishing together.

Charles loved his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was also a special brother, uncle and dear friend to all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by: Parents,Coleman and Mabel Snow.Sister,Ramona Jones.

He is survived by: Wife,Dolores Snow of the home in Lexington, Three children,Brian Snow and wife Krista of Aledo, Texas,Gena Sullivan and husband Kinney of Lexington,Jason Snow and wife Robin of Lexington,Two brothers,Buster Wyman Snow and wife Aliene of Lexington, Lamoines Snow of Lexington, Two sisters,Maxine Tucker of Lexington,Charlette Holliday of OKC. Five grandchildren,Bethany Nicole Sullivan, Macalah Dawn Teague and husband Tanner, Kenneth Andrew Sullivan, Abbigail Grace Snow,and Eisley Grace Snow. One great granddaughter,Adley Teague. Also many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
