Wadley's Funeral Service

Chad Thomas Short died October 20, 2014 in Noble, Oklahoma at the age of 39 Years 10 Months 30 Days. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Monday, October 27, 2014 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Lexington Cemetery under the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Chad was born November 21, 1974 to Benny and Debra (Henderson) Short in Purcell, Oklahoma. He was raised in the Wayne area, attending Wayne Schools. Chad was a hard worker, working with his father building and transporting mobile homes. He loved family gatherings, and spending time with his children and grandchildren, which were his motivation.

Chad is preceded in death by his grandparents, Naomi (Clagg) Henderson, Merle and Pauline Short; uncles, Thurman Short, Melvin Short, Randy Henderson; aunt, Theresa Peltier; and cousins, DeAnna Jones and Jerry Henderson.

Survivors include his father, Benny Short of Blanchard; mother, Debra Short of McCloud; daughter, Skiylar McCullar of Pauls Valley; sons, Brandon Potts and wife, Feather of Wayne, Shoun Rogez of Purcell; grandchildren, Auddie, Bentley, Karsyn; siblings, Eric Short, Angela Farley, Ronnie Short; and numerous other relatives and friends.
