Brenda Kay Parten died March 5, 2015 in Purcell at the age of 57 years 7 months 29 days. Gravesite services are scheduled for 2:30 PM, Friday, March 6, 2015 at Lexington Cemetery under the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Brenda was born July 7, 1957 in Oklahoma City to T.N and Savada (Booker) Parten. She was raised in Purcell and attended the Southern Oklahoma Resource Center/Cerebral Palsy Institute in Pauls Valley. Brenda was a member of the 1st Christian Church of Purcell and was baptized on July 5, 1998. She enjoyed puzzles and was a master at word search puzzles. She enjoyed latch hook and loved to have the Bible read to her. She also loved spending time visiting with family and friends.

Brenda is preceded in death by her father, TN Parten; mother, Savada (Booker) Parten Todd; step-father, Theo Todd and numerous aunts and uncles.

Survivors include her cousins, Doris Henderson of Guymon and June Gray of Whitesboro, and special friends, Dewayne and Bernice West along with numerous cousins and friends.
