Pat Meyer, age 80 of Wayne, passed away Friday June 17, 2016 at her home.

Ruby Ellen Songer was born September 23, 1935 in Coal County, OK. She was 1 of 6 children born to Charles Odie Songer and Ellen (Loyd) Songer. Pat grew up a farm girl, raised to work and take care of her family. She was the proud mother of 4 children, sons, Sam and Michael and daughters, Ellen Marie and Angie. Pat had a very generous spirit, and enjoyed caring for and helping others, and especially for children. On August 23, 1990, Pat and Gerald Dan Meyer were united in marriage, and they made their home on the Meyer Ranch near Wayne. Pat worked alongside Gerald in the family business, Meyer Bull Leasing, raising cattle and leasing bulls throughout Oklahoma and the surrounding states. When not working, she enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with her family, and she looked forward to long, leisurely drives in the country. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by: Daughter, Ellen Marie Di Bonto in February of this year; Husband, Gerald Dan Meyer, and her Parents, Charles Odie and Ellen Songer.

She is survived by: Daughter, Angie Todd and spouse LaQuita of Purcell; Two sons, Otis Armstrong of Tulsa; Mike Armstrong of Mt. Airy, MD; Five grandchildren, Missty Di Bonto and spouse Ashley Di Bonto of Purcell, Dillen Di Bonto of Purcell, Mikey Armstrong of Tulsa, Devin Todd of the home and Tara Armstrong of Frederick, MD; Three Great grandchildren, Kaden, Emma and Jaxsen; And many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 20, 2016, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Lexington Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson-Little Funeral Home of Purcell.
