Addie Lou King, age 71 of Oklahoma City, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Integris Southwest Medical.

She was born in Bakersfield, California on July 6, 1946, to Noah Lone Walters and Etta Mae (Moore) Walters. Addie was the second of five children and grew up in Bakersfield until moving to Oklahoma City in 1982. She later moved to Dibble in 2000 and back to OKC in 2011. Addie spent many years working in the Hotel hospitality industry. She was a faithful Christian and longtime member of Faith Christian Fellowship in Dibble.

Addie had a very special great niece, Jessie King, which she raised as her own. Jessie lived with Addie and helped take care of her. The last two years her niece Vicki McDonald also lived with her and helped take care of her. Addie had a very special bond with all of her nieces and nephews. While they were growing up she loved babysitting them. For enjoyment, Addie liked to crochet and go to garage sales. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by: Parents, Noah and Etta Mae Walters; Husband, Oscar “Jr.” King; Brother, William “Dutch” Walters; Sisters, Terry Walters, Linda Reedie, Judy Morningstar; Nephew, Roy “Buckie” Lane;

She is survived by: Numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at Lexington Cemetery, 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 4, 2017. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
