Jackie Ray Johnson died April 20, 2014 in Lexington at the age of 74 years 2 months 18 days. Gravesite services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Lexington Cemetery under the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Jackie was born January 23, 1940 to RB and Viola (Murphy) Johnson in Mountain Park, Oklahoma. He was raised in Oklahoma City, graduating from Northeast Highschool. Jackie was inducted into the United States Marine Corps in 1956. He married Roseland Brasier on December 14, 1958 in Durant, Oklahoma. Jackie was honorably discharged in 1963. He was a truck driver for many years. Jackie enjoyed spending time at Lake Texhoma, fishing and boating. He also loved spending time with his family, working on old cars, playing the guitar and trucking.

Jackie is preceded in death by his parents, RB and Viola Johnson; wife of 43 years, Rose Johnson; and an infant son, RB "Spyke" Johnson.

Survivors include his daughter, Kristi Rutherford and husband, Ron of Tishomingo; son, Jackie Johnson and wife, Cindi of Lexington; son, Mark Johnson of El Reno; son, Johnny Johnson of West Jordan, Utah; son, Tony Johnson of Lexington; daughter, Samantha Johnson of Lexington; grand daughter, Cheyenne Singleton of Lexington; daughter #3, Martha Snow of Norman; sisters, Katherine Davis and Norma Liechman of Woodland, California; 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; dog, Jake and numerous other relatives and friends.
