Doris Evelyn Fore went to be with her Lord on January 24, 2014 in Blanchard, OK at the age of 89. Doris was born on August 1, 1924 in Wanette, OK. She was the oldest child of 9 children born to Samuel David Stark and Mildred Faye (Jones) Stark. Doris grew up in the Asher and Purcell area where she also attended school. On June 29, 1942 she married the love of her life, Loyd Fore. Together they made their home in the Purcell and Lexington area where they raised three children, Larry, Gwen and Keith. Doris worked as a homemaker and for nearly 15 years as a Beautician operating Doris’s Beauty Shop in Purcell. Doris was a faithful Christian woman and member of the Memorial Assembly of God Church in Purcell, OK where she was known for her amazing ability to memorize and quote verses from the bible. Her passion in life was to pray for her family, to share the love of Jesus with whomever she met and to pray and support her pastor. Throughout her life she enjoyed gardening, cooking and canning black-eyed peas. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, her husband Loyd and sister Theo McCroskey.

She is survived by: Three children: Larry Fore and wife Annabell of Naples, FL, Gwen Mittzenswei and husband Charlie of Peoria, AZ, Keith Fore and wife Glenda of Blanchard, Four sisters: Reba Archer of Noble, Zella Nance of Edmond, Beulah Borroel and husband Chuck of Mission Viejo, CA, Martha Johnston of Lexington, Three brothers: Sam Stark and wife Jo of Lexington, John Stark and wife Shirley of Purcell, Curt Stark and wife Pebbles of Midwest City, eight grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren, one sister-in-law: Billie Morehead of Washington, many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January, 29th at Memorial Assembly of God in Purcell, OK. with burial following in the Lexington Cemetery. Arrangements are with Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
