Tonny Bryant, age 58 of Slaughterville, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014, at the Purcell Municipal Hospital. Tonny Woodrow Bryant was born September 10, 1955 in Purcell, the older of two sons born to Woodrow Cortez “Corky” Bryant and Esther Margaret (Calvert) Bryant. Tonny was raised in the Slaughterville area and attended Noble Schools. He then attended Mid America Technology Center where he studied Air Conditioning & Refrigeration. Tonny worked for many years as a journeyman, installing heat and air systems. Most recently, he worked in Sales for Lasher Home Comfort Systems. On December 28, 1985, in Wanette, OK, Tonny married his best friend and soul mate, a young lady named Lori Cheryl Howse. When he wasn’t working, Tonny enjoyed fishing and hunting, or you could find him riding his tractor. He was an avid football fan and especially cheered for his OU Sooners. Tonny was a strong man of faith. He loved working with youth and spent many summers counseling at Falls Creek. He never missed an opportunity to share his testimony. Tonny Bryant was a wonderful husband and father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a true friend. He was deeply loved and will be remembered for his quick wit and sarcasm!

He was preceded in death by: His father, Corky Bryant.

Tonny leaves behind: His wife, Lori of the home; His mother, Esther Bryant of Slaughterville; 2 sons, Christopher Bryant and wife Hannah of Norman and Toby Bryant of the home; 2 daughters, Tanya Sheppard and husband Cody of Yukon and Katy Bryant of Norman; 4 Grandchildren, Trey, Daisy, Crixus and Jayslei; His brother, Faron Bryant and wife Nanette of Lexington and A host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Lexington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to The Gideon's International @ PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800.
