Funeral services for Arley Lee Kendrix will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo, OK and burial following at the Sugar Creek Cemetery in Soper, OK. Arley went to be with his Lord on Monday, July 15, 2013, at the age of 87.

Arley Lee Kendrix was born February 15, 1926, in Choctaw County in OK, the son of Alvie and Rosa (Marsh) Kendrix. He married Mildren Waugh in January of 1975, in Soper, OK. He had lived in this area all of his life and was a member of the Church of Christ in Boswell, OK. Arley worked in the timber business in his younger days and in his later years he did lawn care for people. He loved to hunt and fish, make a huge garden of which he enjoyed giving most of it away.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Mildren Kendrix.

Arley is survived by his brothers, Charley Kendrix and wife Judy of Hobbs, NM, Joe Kendrix and wife Billie Jean of Farris, OK, Ray Kendrix and wife Barbara of Hugo, OK and Alvis Kendrix and wife, Virginia of Soper, OK; sister, Edna Gallant and husband Homer of Soper, OK; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
