Funeral services for Margie M. Martin will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel with Rev. Mike Bryant officiating and burial following in the Springs Chapel Cemetery.

Margie passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 72. Margie Marea Martin was born June 19, 1940 in Hugo, Oklahoma, to James Walter and Leona May (Record) Martin. She had lived all of her life in the Hugo, OK area. Margie had worked at the Golden Age home in the kitchen, Choctaw Memorial Hospital in housekeeping, Wells Lamont Glove Factory, worked at the lunch counter at the Ben Franklin's - Eastland's Five & Dime Store. One of the things she loved to do was caring for animals. Margie also loved to crochet and teach others the same, a seamstress and doing crafts.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Tommie Lou Bock and infant, Wanda Lou Martin; one brother, James Weldon Martin.

Margie is survived by two brothers, Melvin Martin of Ft. Towson, OK and Jimmy Dale Martin of Paris, TX; one sister, Jennie Sue Dellinger of Hugo, OK; half- sister, Martha Martin of Hot Springs, AR; numerous nieces, nephews and special cousins.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 22, 2012, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo, OK.
