Funeral services for Georgia Mae Bolin will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel, with Rev. Steve Walker officiating, and burial following in the Springs Chapel Cemetery in Hugo, OK.

Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011, in Hugo, OK at the age of 83. Georgia Mae Bowlin was born February 12, 1927 in Vinson, OK, the daughter of George Russell and Daisy (Everidge) Moody. She had lived in this area most of her life and was a member of the Wesley Methodist Church in Hugo, OK. In her early years, she worked at the glove factory and as a waitress downtown Hugo. She loved quilting, crocheting and enjoyed visiting with her friends. She would always make people feel welcome.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray Bowlin; one son, Michael Bowlin; two grandsons, Ryan Fletcher and Rodney Fash; and one sister, Doris Reich.

Georgia is survived by four daughters, Tressia Childers of LA, Jo Thomas of Hugo, OK, Carolyn Good of Dallas, TX and Doris Fash of Oklahoma City, OK; two brothers, Harold Wayne Thompson and Roy Lee Thompson; ten grandchildren, Marvin Thomas of Kingston, OK, Alan Thomas of Hugo, OK, Jason Thomas of Haileyville, OK, Zech Lumpkin of Dallas, TX, Cathy Henson of Moore, OK, Cindy McGhay of Kingston, OK, Jeannie Ward of Hugo, OK, Anita Braudrick of Boswell, OK, David Allan Hoskin of Alabama and Breanna Bowlin of Hugo, OK; 25 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; several neices, nephews, and a host of friends. j

The family will receive friends Friday, January 28, 2011, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel.
