Angela Kay Allensworth of Edmond, Oklahoma passed from this life Wednesday, October 28th, 2015 at her home while in the presence of her family. She was 45 years old.

Angela was born December 11th, 1969 in Oxford, California to Jerry Don and Sandra Kay (Colley) Milam. She married Donnie Allensworth on October 15, 1988 in Oklahoma City. She graduated from Mid America Christian College with a masters degree in Psychology and was completing her practicum as a Licensed Marriage Family Counselor who's passion was working with cancer families.

Angela was a loving wife and mother and was very devoted to her family, you could find her at plays, dance recitals, football games or at anything else that her children were involved in. She also loved going to the movies, shopping, traveling, and arts and crafts, more specifically making floral arrangements and painting. She was a joy to be around and will be truly missed by her family and friends.

Angela is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Don Milam, her paternal grandparents; Paul & Ruby Milam, and her maternal grandfather; Babe Colley.

She leaves behind a loving family that includes her husband Donnie, daughter Ashley and son Adam all of the home, her mother Sandra Kay Myers of Rattan, step-father Wayne Myers of Oklahoma City, step mother Eula Michaels of Albuquerque, New Mexico, two brothers Donavan Milam of Antlers and Brian Milam of Albuquerque, New Mexico and sister Stephanie Myers of Chattanooga, Tennessee and grandmother Betty Woods of Hugo as well as many other relatives and a host of friends.

Family night will be held Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Burkhart Funeral Service of Antlers.

Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2015 at Sobol Cemetery with Jonathan Hooker officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Burkhart Funeral Service of Antlers.
