Funeral services for Bobby Glenn Harrison will be held on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel with Pastor Billy Irions officiating and burial following in the Shoat Springs Cemetery. Bobby passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 68.

Bobby Glenn Harrison was born August 24, 1945 in Childress, Texas, to Charles Benjamin and Emajene (Sanders) Harrison. He married Frances Lorraine Hamill on March 4, 1967 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Hugo, OK. He was a Hugo resident for 54 years. He proudly served his country from 1968 to 1971 during the Vietnam War as an Avionics Instructor with the US Army. He retired as Employment Office Manager at the Oklahoma State Employment Office in Hugo in July 1998, after 23 years of service. He also ran this own ranch from 1972 until his passing. He was past president of Southeastern Oklahoma Economic Development Association, past Vice-Commander of Hugo American Legion Post Number 59, past Treasurer of Hugo Kiwanis, and he served with the Choctaw County Industrial Authority and the Advisory Committee over Diesel Mechanics at the Kiamichi Area Vo-Tech in Hugo, OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Charles Harrison; and his twin sons.

Bobby is survived by Frances Harrison of the home; one son: Jeff Harrison and wife, Christa, of Mt. Vernon, TX; three brothers: Kenneth Harrison and wife, Mary, of Moore, OK, Rex Harrison and wife, Lila, of Maine, and Russell Powell of Foreman, AR; one sister: Barbara Webb of Idaho; three grandchildren: Dakota Harrison and wife, Lauren, of Hugo, OK and Brent Harrison and Addie Harrison of Mt. Vernon, TX; one great grandchild: Olivia Jo Harrison of Hugo, OK. Bobby is best remembered for his intense dedication to his family, as well as the love and care he provided daily for his cattle.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 6:00 PM-7:00 PM in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel in Hugo, OK.
