Funeral services for Jerry Don Williams, fondly known as “Deet”, will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. in the Victory Life Church of Boswell, OK. and burial following in the Restland Cemetery in Boswell, OK. Jerry went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 24, 2012, in Bennington, Oklahoma, at the age of 72.

Jerry Don Williams was born June 9, 1940, in Boswell, OK the son of M.C. and Cassie LaVonne (Battiest) Williams. He had lived in this area about twelve years after moving here from Dallas in 1962. Jerry loved to watch sports, coached girls softball, boys baseball and soccer. He enjoyed fishing and being in the outdoors. He will be greatly missed.

Deet is survived by his sons, Toby Don Williams of Bennington, OK, and Hunter Williams and wife Stacy of Rowlett, OK; brother, Bill Williams and wife Lois of LaFayette, LA; sisters, Sharon Baker and husband Carl of Lewisville, TX and JoAnn Weston and husband Bobby of Hugo, OK; grandchildren, Conner Rackley of Garland, TX and Aaron Ferguson of Rowlett, TX; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
