Boswell, OK- Doodle, as known by his family and many friends was born Sunday, December 16, 1979 in Hugo, Oklahoma to Max Hilton Vansickle and Vicki Lynette (Mullins) Vansickle, he passed from this life on Saturday, August 14, 2021 in Colbert, Oklahoma at the age of 41.

Doodle lived all of his life in Choctaw county and attended Boswell school. His family jokingly agreed that he worked more at trying to get out of working. Doodle was a generous person who liked kids and was a kid at heart. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, teasing people, laughing and eating good food.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, Preston Noland.

Doodle is survived by his sisters, Mary Jane Noland and her husband, Glendell, of Bennington, and Kasey Boatwright of Boswell; special child, Amy Grace; nieces and nephews, Brandon Noland, Spencer Noland, Erica Noland, Jazlyn Talor and Jaidyn Taylor; and many good friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 17, from 6-8 PM at Brown’s Funeral Service in Durant.

Graveside services will be held at Restland Cemetery pavilion in Boswell at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 18, with Bro. Travis Huffman officiating. Pallbearers will be Lewis Tubby, Brandon Noland, Spencer Noland, Johnny Belvin, Ricky Marshall and Phillip Holman.
