Funeral services for James Kent Schuessler will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. in the Boswell First Baptist Church with Bro. Tad Rowand officiating and burial following in the Restland Cemetery.

Kent went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 23, 2012, in Durant, Oklahoma, at the age of 70. James Kent Schuessler was born September 19, 1942, in Hugo, OK the son of Jimmie and Wilmoth (Dancer) Schuessler. He had lived in this area all of his life and was a member of the Boswell First Baptist Church. He married Mary Sue (Goad) on December 26, 1961, in Boswell, OK. Kent was a Rancher all his life. He loved to go fishing, hunting, play poker, but most of all he loved to spend time with his grandkids and watching all their games.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Sue Schuessler and his father Jimmie Schuessler.

He is survived by his sons, Daray Schuessler and wife Lisa of Durant, OK, Karl Schuessler and wife Vanessa of Soper, OK; daughter, Kolinda Moffatt and husband Russell of Soper, OK; mother Wilmoth Schuessler of Boswell, OK; sister, Sharon Manous and husband John of Boswell, OK; eight grandchildren; best friend Rita Burke; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo, OK.
