Lela Ruth Phillips, 81, died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 1996.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Restland Cemetery at Boswell, Okla. Arrangements are by Dalton-Holmes Funeral Home.

Mrs. Phillips moved to Durant in 1994 from Amarillo. She attended Draughon's Business College. She had worked in the credit department at Levine's, at the Amarillo Credit Bureau, Senior Citizens, Moose Lodge, Veterans Administration and St. Anthony's Hospital. She was a member of Sanborn Baptist Church in Amarillo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Phillips and a daughter, Kay Fondren Seymour.

Survivors include a son, Jackie L. Phillips of Shawnee, Okla.; a daughter, Janet L. Hamon of Irving; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
