Visitation with the family of Nora Dean Painter, 95 will be from 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday October 22, 2017 at Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Monday October 23, 2017 at Restland Cemetery in Boswell, Oklahoma officiated by Maxey Savage.

Nora was born in Mineral Springs, Arkansas on August 6, 1922 to Roy and Virna Hallman Sutton and died Thursday October 19, 2017 at Hennessey Care Center.

She married Jasper Lee Painter in Bonham, Texas in 1942.

She is survived by two sons Jasper Lee Painter, Jr. and wife Joyce of Oklahoma City, Jack Painter and wife Kathy of Hennessey; one daughter Glenda Annette Gonzales of Dover; seven grandchildren Valerie Settles, Dale Painter, Nicole Andrade, Michael Chaney, Erica Bohle, Lance Painter, Adam Chaney; two sisters Emagean Snelgroes of Hugo, Loraine Roebuck of Boswell; one brother Bob Manar of Liberty, Missouri; eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Nora was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jasper, one infant son Jamie Lee Painter, three sisters and one brother.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the charity of donors choice with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
