Graveside services for Alva "Al" Ensey will be held at the Restland Cemetery on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Gene Witt officiating.

Alva “Al” Ensey a lifelong resident of Boswell, OK passed away January 17, 2009 at the age of 79 in Bonham, Texas. Al Ensey was born on March 13, 1929 in Choctaw County, OK the son of D.A. “Debo” and Bobbie (Stephens) Ensey. Al Graduated from Boswell High then went on to serve in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1954 during the Korean War. After serving in the Navy he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the family business. He and his wife Joyce loved traveling together and were devoted Dallas Cowboy fans. Al loved getting together with family and friends.

Al was preceded in death by the love of his life Joyce Ensey; his mother Bobbie Stephens Ensey and father, D.A. "Debo"¯ Ensey, grandparents Mr. & Mrs. W.C. Stephens who raised Al, one brother Coy Ensey, and one sister Rose Bryce.

Al is survived by: one brother Don Ensey and wife Elsie; three sisters: Rita Love, Lana Ensey, Ethel Ensey; three nephews: Jimmy Morse, Michael Bryce, Ricky Bryce; one niece: Carol Sargent and husband Wesley; one great niece: Tiffany Martin and husband Scott; three great great nephews: Jarrod Martin, Jaden Martin, Jace Martin.
