Funeral services for Buddy J. Barcheers will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Riverside Unity Church in Boswell, OK with Pastor Tom Morris and Bishop Jimmy Honeycutt officiating and burial following in the Restland Cemetery in Boswell, OK. Buddy passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015 in Bennington, Oklahoma, at the age of 73.

Buddy J. Barcheers was born December 7, 1941 in Boswell, Oklahoma, to Bob and Rosa Lee (Satterfield) Barcheers. He had lived in this area all of his life and married Wanda Pierce on May 9, 1966 in Bennington, OK. He had preached most of his life in the Church of God Churches, Buddy loved singing, fishing and preaching. He was preceded in death by parents.

Buddy is survived by wife, Wanda Barcheers of the home; children, Donald Barcheers and wife, Linda of Aurora, CO, Lawanda Daniel and husband, George of Bokchito, OK; brother, Roy Barcheers and wife, LaReda of Lane, OK; sisters, Nadine Roberts and husband, Les of Hugo, OK, Virginia Lange and husband, Buddy of Gilmer, TX, Kay Matthews and husband, Randy of Ashdown, AR; grandchildren, Charley Springfield and wife, Ami, and Taylor Springfield and wife, Emily; great-grandchildren, Bentlee McCuller and Briar Springfield.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo, OK.
