Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Williams

Funeral services for Benjamin, fondly known as "Frank" Williams will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel with Pastor Colby Bryant officiating and burial following in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Benjamin passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 102. Benjamin Williams was born July 8, 1909 in Soper, OK, to Henry and Ida (Bond) Williams. He had lived all of his life in this area and attended the Assembly of God Church in Soper, OK. He married Pauline Virginia Roebuck on June 23, 1934 in Soper, OK. Frank worked and retired after thirty years with the Bridge Gang for the Railroad. He was a cattle rancher and enjoyed hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pauline Williams in 2006; granddaughter, Linda Williams; brother, Robert Williams; sister, Sue Lester.

Benjamin is survived by three sons, Henry C. Williams and wife, Lorraine of Muskogee, OK, Roy F. Williams and wife, Shirley of Tulsa, OK and Joe Williams of Soper, OK; two daughters, Ruth Waugh and husband, Atwood of Soper, OK and Ida Zellner and husband, Coleman of Newcastle, OK; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. Family would like to give special thanks to all of Frank’s caregivers.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 17, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo, OK.
