Funeral services for Ala Faye Randell West, 92, of Marietta, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 7 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo with Minister Chase Green officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hugo.

Born on April 15, 1932, in Soper, Faye passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024, in Ardmore. She was the daughter of John Riley Wyrick May (McCleary) Wyrick.

Faye was a longtime resident of Soper but lived in Marietta for the past six years where she was a member of the Church of Christ. She married her loving husband, John Wesley Randell on April 27, 1950, and together they lived a wonderful life raising their children. Faye worked at Wells Lamont glove factory early in her life and later she followed her passion for caring for people as a CNA at the Golden Age Home in Hugo. She enjoyed reading and attending family gatherings. Faye loved her family deeply and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, John Wesley Randell; second husband, Kenneth West; daughter, Phyllis Randell; grandson, Steven Randell; brothers, Jimmy Ray Wyrick, J.C. Wyrick, Harold E. Wyrick, and Ervin O. Wyrick; and sister, Linda L. Howle.

Faye is survived by her sons, Richard Randell and wife Beverly of Soper and Bradley Randell and wife Jill of Marietta; grandchildren, Shane Randell and wife Lisa, Doug Randell and wife Robin, Joshua Randell, and Joni Beck and husband Chris; great-grandchildren, Marissa, Meagan, Landon, Landry, Wesley, Kylee, Madison, Blakely, and Brantly; great-great-grandchildren, Ella, Claire, Rainier, David, Carson, and Brooklyn; brothers, Jerry Wyrick and Larry Wyrick; sisters, Joyce Thomas Barker and Dola Mae Harris, along with a host of family, friends and loved ones.
