Graveside services for Barbara Holton Wareham will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bill Darrough Pavilion and burial following in the Mt Olivet Cemetery in Hugo, OK. Barbara Holton Wareham, age 80 was born April 14, 1931, in Hugo, Oklahoma and passed away October 7, 2011, in Thibodaux, La. Barb was a longtime resident of Franklinton and a retired employee of Riverside Medical Center. Although she lived in Texarkana, TX and South Louisiana, she always called Hugo her home. Barbara blessed so many lives with her devotion to family, her courage, and her love for life. Barbara was survived by her three children: Toni Berry of Benton, LA; Lisa Wareham of Thibodaux, LA; and Mike Wareham of Franklinton, LA.
Her four grandchildren: Lee Berry and wife Amanda; Blake Berry and wife Tiffany; Mandy Wareham and fiancé Michael Strahan; and Macy McBeth and husband Brian. Seven great grandchildren: Joelee Berry, Kennslee Berry, Isaiah Strahan, Ian Strahan, Gage McBeth, Makayla McBeth, and Anslee McBeth; and numerous nieces and nephews along with Aunt Bernice Payne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Wareham, Jr. in 1998; her parents, Grady and Verda Holton; one sister, Pat Richards and husband Chuck; sister in law, Myrtle Renfroe and husband Earl; sister in law, Edna Reed and husband Willis.
Pallbearers will be Lee Berry, Blake Berry, Bobby Pate, Brian McBeth, Mary Susan Ayo, Kathleen Gisclair, Jimmy Payne, and Sammy Richards. Visitation will be held at Crain Funeral Home in Franklinton, LA, Sunday, October 9, 2011, from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
