Funeral services for Billy Ray Pharis will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel with Brother Robert O'Neill officiating and burial following in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Billy passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013 in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 73.

Billy Ray Pharis was born September 25, 1940, in Ft. Towson, Oklahoma, to Walter P. and Lois Ann (Beene) Pharis. He passed from this life December 12, 2013, in Hugo, OK, at the age of 73. Billy married Sandra Lingafelter January 12, 1963 in Reno, Nevada. He served in the United States Navy during Vietnam. Billy enjoyed fishing, working on his ranch and spending time with their family.

Billy was preceded in death by his father: Walter P. Pharis; mother: Lois Ann Beene: and seven siblings.

He is survived by wife: Sandy Pharis of the home; daughter: Cindy Pharis of Powderly, Texas; son: Scott Pharis of Kansas City, Missouri; brother: Rex Pharis of Sawyer, Oklahoma; sister: Avis June Mosley of Greenville, Texas; grandchildren: Noah Pharis and Andrew Pharis; as well as many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 2:00pm - 4:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel in Hugo, OK.
