Funeral services for Lois Holton will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton Mills & Coffey Chapel with Mike Bryant officiating, and burial following in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Lois passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012, in Dallas, TX, at the age of 78. Lois Wanda Jane Holton was born March 19, 1934, in Heavener, Oklahoma, to LaFayette and Nettie (Roberts) Lord. She was a cook for Goodland School for many years and had lived in Hugo most of her life. Lois loved cooking, and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She loved garage sales, crossword puzzles, and to just get out and visit with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dan Holton, two sons, Jackie Brownfield and Virgle Brownfield, numerous brothers and sisters, and one grandson Gary Micheal Jones Jr.

Lois is survived by sons, Vernon Carl Webster and wife Billie of Pocola, OK, Benny Brownfield and wife Cindy of Arkoma, OK; daughters, Shirley Sanders and husband John of Claremore, OK, Letha Jones of Hugo, OK, and Cindy Friddle and husband Charles of Rogers , AR; one brother, Jacob Virgle Lord of Heavener, OK; fifteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 26, 2012, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Chapel in Hugo, OK.
