Funeral services for Robert Harless will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2010, at Riverside Unity Church with Rev. Tim Harless and Eric Dennis officiating with burial following in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Robert passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2010, in Soper, Oklahoma, at the age of 80. Robert Harless was born November 27, 1929, in Soper, Oklahoma, to James Floyd and Pearl (Lee) Harless. He had lived in this area for over eighty years and was a member of the Riverside Unity Church and the Masonic Lodge. He married Erma Lee Antwine on December 23, 1950, in Hugo, OK. Robert worked for the USDA until his retirement. Robert loved sports, country music, cattle and his church.

He was preceded in death by parents, Floyd and Pearl Harless; three brothers, Floyd Harless Jr., Leo Harless and Willis Harless.

Robert is survived by wife, Erma Harless of Soper, OK; sons, Barney Harless and wife Pam of Stigler, OK, Tim Harless and wife Julie of Soper, OK; daughter, Lea Ann Dennis and husband Eric of Madill, OK; sister, Fay Warren and husband, Mike of Mead, OK; a niece, considered as a sister, Norma Marsh and Jerry of Caddo, OK; grandsons, Parker Harless, Payton Harless, Jake Harless, Clint Harless, Chase Dennis, Dakota Dennis; granddaughter, Robbie Springfield; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 26, 2010, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo, OK.
