Funeral services for Alma Jean "Bo" Hanna will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Hugo, with Dick McClure officiating, and burial following in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Bo passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011, in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 83. Alma Jean "Bo" Hanna was born May 10, 1928, in Hugo, Oklahoma, the daughter of Grady C. and Helen Victoria (Caldwell) Ketchum. She married Claude Hanna on May 9, 1946, in Hugo, OK then she went to San Angelo Beauty School in 1950. After obtaining her license she came back to Hugo where she ran her own beauty shop, The Duchess, for 45 years with her sister Dot. Bo enjoyed fishing, gardening, tending to her flowers, and mowing yards on her tractor. She loved her dogs, strays and all.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Claude Hanna in 1989; one daughter, Suzanne Hodges in 2003; sister, Dorthea "Dot" Weber in 1999.

Bo is survived by one son, Grady Hanna and wife Vicki of Hugo, OK; grandchildren, Laura Sumner and husband David of Hugo, OK, Michael Hanna of Burleson, TX, Jennifer Hanna of Winston, GA; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Timothy Hanna of Burleson, TX, Brent, Jay, and Tarrah Sumner; cousins, LaDonna Plott and her children, Kaylee Adrianzen and husband Josoh, Sarah Dudley all of Hugo, OK; numerous cousins and extended family.

The family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 22, 2011, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel in Hugo, OK.
