Graveside services for Maxine Doyle will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the Bill Darrough Pavilion at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Rev. Dick McClure officiating. Maxine passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013, in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 88.

Vesta Maxine Doyle was born June 16, 1924, in Soper, Oklahoma, the daughter of Alex and Lillian (Whitlow) Awbrey. Maxine had lived in this area all of her life and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hugo, OK. She married Winfield Doyle in Hugo on August 16, 1966. Maxine had worked as City Clerk for Hugo, OK for many years and also Lonestar Gas Co. She loved to cook and work with her family at the Trolly Car Restaurant in Hugo for many years. Maxine loved visiting friends and playing dominoes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfield Doyle in 1999; twin sister, Charlene Awbrey in 2008.

Maxine is survived by numerous cousins and friends.
