Funeral services for Luda Coffman will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel with Rev. Dean Young officiating and burial following in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Luda passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013, in Grant, Oklahoma, at the age of 77.

Luda Coffman was born September 10, 1935, in Grant, Oklahoma, the daughter of L.C. and Dorothy (Nelson) Flanagan. She married Jack Coffman on September 26, 1955, in Perry, Georgia. They retired from the Air Force in Altus, OK, where Randy graduated High school and enrolled in the University of Oklahoma in the early 1970's. Jack and Luda moved to Chicota, TX where they owned and operated the Texaco Service Station. In 1974 they became house parents at Goodland Children's Home. Luda worked in the field of dentistry before opening the Cabbage Patch Day Care. Luda was founder and co-owner of the Cabbage Patch Day Care in Hugo where she was involved until an auto accident in Dec. 2004, in which she never fully recovered. She and Thomas enjoyed farming and ranching as well as fishing at Lake Texoma. Luda was a loving and wonderful mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. She was the most giving and caring person you would ever meet, always doing for others before herself.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her late husband, Jack Coffman; her son, Randy Coffman.

Luda is survived by her companion husband of 33 years Thomas Crawford; two sisters, Barbara Morris of Hugo, OK and Glenna Ingram of Argyle, TX; one brother, Billy Flanagan of Grant, OK; one granddaughter, Kelley Coffman; one grandson, Kyle Coffman; seven nieces and nephews; 16 great nieces and nephews; many cousins and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 18, 2013, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel.
