Funeral services for Chuck Cearley will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at the Clayton Avenue Baptist Church, with Rev. Rick Lawrenson officiating, and burial following in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo, OK.

Chuck passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011, in Hugo, OK at the age of 53. Chester Ray Cearly Jr., fondly known as "Chuck" was born February 8, 1958, in Hugo, OK, the son of Chester and Lou (Burton) Cearley. He was raised in Hugo and graduated with the class of 1976 from Hugo High School. Chuck worked for the Hugo Housing Authority before joining the Choctaw Nation and working in Security and Surveillance for the past eight years. Chuck enjoyed sports, was an avid OU football enthusiast, as well as playing golf and tennis in his earlier years. He loved to deer hunt and participate in the Community Theater. Chuck would help anybody in need and was a friend to all he met.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lou Cearley; and his grandmother, Georgia M. Best.

Chuck is survived by his father, Chester Cearley of Hugo, OK; one sister, Renee Baer and husband Kenneth of Irving, TX; close cousin, Rhonda Snodgrass and husband Kurt of Norman, OK; nieces and nephews include, Kendra Thomason, Steven Baer both of Grand Prairie, TX, Kallen Snodgrass and Kade Snodgrass both of Norman, OK; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, from 6:00-7:00pm at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel.
