LaDois (Hass) Bean

Funeral services for LaDois Bean will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel with Pastor Brandon Hagins officiating and John Paul Pruden assisting with burial following in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo, OK. LaDois passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 in Paris, TX at the age of 81.

LaDois Bean was born August 4, 1934 in Alba, Texas, to Clayton Powell and Winnie Donnie (Duke) Hass. She grew up in Farmersville, TX and shared many fond memories with her brothers and sisters. After attending high school LaDois moved to Dallas, TX to start her thirty-six and a half year career at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. It was in Dallas that she met the love of her life, Edward Bean. They were married on December 11, 1952 in DeQueen, AR. They moved to Garland, TX where they raised their two beautiful daughters. After retirement, she and Edward moved to Soper, OK to raise cattle and enjoy the country life.

Before her sickness, she attended the Soper United Methodist Church. LaDois was a member of the Ladies Literary Study Club and the Nelson Club. She enjoyed laughing and spending time with her family and friends. She was loved by all that knew her and will truly be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Winnie Hass; one sister, Winnielean Hass; four brothers, Jimmy Burl Hass, Harrell Glenn Hass, Charles Irdell Hass and Alfred Hass.

LaDois is survived by her loving husband, Edward Bean; two daughters, Debbie Henderson and husband, Ronnie of Mesquite, TX, and Nancy Eskridge and husband, Craig of Van Alstyne, TX; two grandsons, Joe Shane Cheatham and wife, Adelene of Soper, OK and Christopher Pharr and wife, Stephanie of Kyle, TX; granddaughters, LaTisha Cawley and husband, Kent of Buda, TX and Natalie Pharr of Moore, OK; five great-grandsons, Cooper Cawley and Carter Cawley of Buda, TX, Colten Pharr and Ridge Pharr of Kyle, TX, and Alaric Cheatham of Soper, OK. LaDois is also survived by two brothers, Richard Hass and wife, Marie of Littlerock AR and Travis Hass of Ravenna, TX; two sisters. Mary Dell Golden of Amity, AR and Judy Pruden and husband Pete, of Yantis, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and neighbors.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 13, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel in Hugo, OK.
