Juanita (Bell) Banks

Funeral services for Juanita Banks will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Chapel with Tommy Parker and Joey Brindley officiating, and burial in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo, OK.

Juanita passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011, in Van Alstyne, TX at the age of 86. Juanita Banks was born May 6, 1925 in Grant, OK, the daughter of M. N. “Mannie”ť and Mable (Reed) Bell. Juanita married Clyde Banks on October 9, 1943 on Fallon Road in Hugo, OK. She had lived in this area most of her life. Juanita was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church. Juanita loved her family, sewing, and caring for her plants.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clyde Banks in 2003; son, Randy Banks in 1997; sister, Sharon Green; brothers, Reed Bell and Kenneth Bell.

Juanita is survived by one daughter, Lynda Payne of Van Alstyne, TX; one sister; Anna Ruth Testerman of Hugo, OK; two brothers, Billy Joe Bell of Broken Arrow, OK and Vernon Bell of Inola, OK; two grandchildren, Tami Taylor of Greenville, TX and Shelly Bailey of Van Alstyne, TX; two great-grandchildren, Natali Cline of Greenville, TX and Justin Bailey of Van Alstyne, TX; one great-great grandson, Jaxon Cline of Greenville, TX.
