Funeral services for Caroline Rose Howser will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Gospel Lighthouse with Dillon Townsend officiating and burial following in the Red Hill Cemetery. Caroline passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016 in Paris, TX, at the age of 78.

Caroline Rose Howser was born April 9, 1938 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Ray John and Birdie Mae (Wilson) Howser. She enjoyed painting, sewing, and playing the piano. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray & Birdie Howser, her husband, Floyd Garrett, her daughter, Elaine Townsend, her infant son, Matt Garrett, her two grandsons, two brothers, Jim & Abe Howser, two step-sisters, and two step-brothers.

Caroline is survived by her children, Danny Garrett of Cushing, OK, Matthew Garrett of Lawton, OK, Renae Reynolds of Edmond, OK, and Patience Reynolds of Guthrie, OK; her brothers, Bill Howser of Shady Cove, OR, Paul Howser and wife, Barbara, of Hugo, OK, and Robert Howser and wife, Jeri, of Hugo, OK; her stepbrothers, Ben Wilson of Brownsville, TX and Donald Wilson of Lexington, OK; sisters-in-law, Norma Howser of Powderly, TX and Estene Howser of Hugo, OK; 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren, as well as many other family and friends.
