Funeral services for Paul David Griffin will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the 4th & Jackson Church of Christ with Steve Harbison officiating. Paul passed away at home surrounded by his family Monday, August 11, 2014 in Hugo, OK, at the age of 75.

Paul was born December 7, 1938 in Henryetta, Oklahoma, to Henry Frank and Louise (Niclot) Griffin. He married Carole Ann Welch on December 20, 1957 in Henryetta, OK. He lived in this area for 51 years, and he belonged to the 4th & Jackson Street Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Franklin Clay & Betty (Clark) Griffin and Joe & Mary (Niclino) Niclot; his brother, Frankie Joe Griffin; one niece, Renita Griffin; daughter-in-law, Chere Griffin; and grandson, Corban Zane Parker Lyon.

Paul is survived by his wife, Carole Ann Griffin of the home, two sons: David Clay Griffin and wife, Cheri Lynn, and Kevin Kord Griffin and wife, Elly; one daughter, Lorie Marlene Griffin; thirteen grandchildren: Amanda Dawn Griffin, Brandon Charles Griffin, Carole Jannine Griffin, Christina Rachele Griffin, Caydan Paul-David Griffin, Brian Keith James Dalton, Eric Scott Raymond Dalton, Douglas Elliott William Dalton, Keeley Renae Lyon, Travis Paul Lindsey, Spencer James Lindsey, Dalton Daniel Lindsey, and Robin Shannon; two great-grandchildren: Peyton Mackenzie Griffin and Paxton Marshall Lee Lindsey; other relatives include: Douglas and Julia Welch, Marshall and Shirley Weese, and Sandy Milam and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the 4th & Jackson Street Church of Christ in Hugo, OK for Corban's Toy Drive, in memory of Paul's grandson, Corban Lyon, or to Tipton's Children Home or Hope Harbor.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00-7:00 PM in the Prater Lampton Mills & Coffey Chapel in Hugo, OK.
