Graveside services for Retha Mae Bevill will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Grant Cemetery with Peggy Scruggs officiating and burial following in the Grant Cemetery.

Retha Mae Bevill, 63 passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in the Broken Bow Nursing Home. She was born on August 19, 1946 in Hugo, OK to the late William Thomas Bevill and Essie Mae Cline. Retha lived most all her life in the Ft. Towson/Swink area. She was a former employee of the Wright City Saw mill. Retha attended Hugo Beauty College the first year it was in Hugo ~ 1976 and received her license as a cosmetologist. Retha enjoyed working with her hands “ making dolls, what knots, stain glass art, painting, and most of all reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents: "Bud" and Essie Bevill, three brothers: Frank Julius Bevill, Henry Thomas Bevill, and James William Bevill; one nephew: Doy Ray Vanderburg; two brother-in-laws: Grady Fugett and Donnie Ray Vanderburg.

Survivors are her son: Dory Lee Bevill of Ft. Towson, OK; three sisters: Dora Soleta Fugett of Brawley, CA, Bessie E. Nichols Irving, TX, and Betty L. Vanderburg of Irving, TX; several nieces, nephews and cousins; a host of other family and friends.
