Graveside services for Adam Ray McClanahan were be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ft. Towson Cemetery with Pastor Leslie “Bear” Johnson officiating. Adam passed away Monday, November 17, 2014 in Hugo, OK at the age of 53.

Adam Ray McClanahan was born February 9, 1961 in Houston, TX, to Lewis and Fay (Gilchrest) McClanahan. He had lived for the past 25 years in the area and worked in fire protection. He married Jamie Patterson in New Deal, TX. Adam enjoyed fishing, gambling, and hunting. He was preceded in death by his mother, Fay McClanahan; brother, Preston McClanahan, and nephew, Michael McClanahan.

Adam is survived by his wife, Jamie; his children, Ami Payne and husband, Shannon, of Ft. Towson, OK, Amanda Kemp and husband, Patrick, of Garvin, OK, Ashlee Burton and husband, Kris, of Soper, OK and Mac McClanahan and wife, Joanna, of Swink, OK; brothers, David McClanahan of Lubbock, TX, Lonnie McClanahan of Hugo, OK, and Jack McClanahan of Maud, OK; sisters, Sandy Scott of Lubbock, TX, Tonya Day of Ft. Towson, OK, Bobbie Moore of Hugo, OK, and Shiena Austin of Valliant, OK; his father, Lewis McClanahan of Ft. Towson, OK; grandchildren Dylan, Deanne, Demi, Denise, Tyler, Destiny, Delayney, Dani, Adrian, Bryce, Dawson, and Denton, as well as numerous family & friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel in Hugo, OK.
