Memorial services for Wanda Lou Harmon will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 12:00 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo, OK; private family burial at Ft. Towson Cemetery in Ft. Towson, OK will follow at a later time. Wanda passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017, in Paris, TX, at the age of 69.

Wanda Lou Harmon was born December 15, 1947, in Oklahoma City, OK to Warren John & Ollie Lucille (Holland) Carper. She worked as a nurse in her career for over 40 years. Wanda was of the Baptist faith and lived in Antlers, OK for many years. Wanda enjoyed cooking, spending time with family & friends, decorating, and shopping. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Carol and Viola “Pet” Wilkins; great niece, Lauren Marie Smith; and her beloved dog, Georgie.

Wanda is survived by her two children, Kimberley Evans of Antlers, OK and David Harmon and wife, Rena, of Antlers, OK; eight grandchildren, Christopher Evans and wife, Morgan, of Paris, TX, Jacqueline Evans of Antlers, OK, Nicholas Evans of Antlers, OK, Sarrena, Nevaeh, and Miley Harmon of Antlers, OK, Amillio Sorrells and wife, Kat, of Okmulgee, OK, Malcomb Broomfield of Broken Bow, OK; three great-grandchildren, Easton & Bryston Evans of Paris, TX, and Jace Montgomery of Antlers, OK; three sisters, Ramona Smith and husband, Arnie, of Ardmore, OK, Barbara Haywood and husband, James, of Oklahoma City, OK, & Gayla Ladd and husband, Paul, of Cove, AR; nine nieces and nephews, Richard Smith and wife, Amanda, Mike Smith and wife, Shelly, Beverly Smith, Paul Smith and wife, Missy, Chandra Rathje and husband, Rob, Alex Ratcliff, Lahanna Ladd, Crockett Ladd, and Maggie Parmenter and husband, Cody; great nieces and nephews, Corey Smith, Anthony Smith, Jai Smith, Michaela Smith, Emily Smith, Phoenix Smith, Waylon Smith, Jaylynn Smith, Elizabeth Leverett, Ashlee Leverett, Sarah Leverett, Maci Taliaferro, Lola Smith, and Rhett Rathje; and numerous other family and friends.
