Tensie Ann Davis-
Tensie Davis, age 80, of Skiatook, OK, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 4, 2025.

Born on January 28, 1945 in Redland, California, to Edward and Gladys Richardson. She was the beloved wife of George Davis, with whom she shared 62 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter, and faith.

Tensie dedicated her life to caring for others — both through her family and her work. Tensie was the devoted mother of five children, the proud grandmother of fourteen, and the cherished great-grandmother of more than thirty great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy, and she was known for her open heart, her home-cooked meals, and the way she made every person feel seen and loved.

Professionally, Tensie served her community as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), in Mayse County, OK. She was devoted to answering calls for help with compassion and courage. Her calm presence and steady hands comforted countless individuals during their most difficult moments. After retirement she continued to serve her community as a cashier and greeter at Skiatook Walmart. Her zest for life and her enthusiasm brought cheer, smiles, and laughter to those she came in contact with each day.

Tensie will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her strength, and her deep commitment to family and service. She leaves behind a legacy of love and care that will continue to touch lives for generations to come.

Tensie is survived by her husband, George; and her children Nicky and Greg Hall, Vicky and George Stroud, and Sara Adair and her grandchildren Dallas, Joshua, Lacy, Jessica, Michael, Lauren, Morgan, Kristen, Brandon, Samantha, Daniel, Sierra, and Damien; and the more than thirty great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy.

She was preceded in death by her beloved first daughter, Tensie Ann Marie, her only son, Brian Keith, and her granddaughter Amanda Rose.

A visitation will be held at Stumpff’s Funeral Home in Skiatook, OK on November 9, 2025 from 1-3pm. A chapel service will be held on November 10, 2025 at Stumpff’s Funeral Home in Skiatook, OK at 10:00 AM. A graveside service will follow at 2:00pm at Ross Cemetery in Tahlequah, OK.
