Graveside services for Thomas (Tom) Spiral Seitz, age 76, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16 at Park Hill Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to the care of the Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah.

Thomas Spiral Seitz was one of three children born to Grover and Ora (Hendrix) Seitz on Nov. 20, 1933 in Vian and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010 in Muskogee.

Tom graduated from Tahlequah High School and served in the U.S. Army. Tom married the love of his life, Marcella Ruth Perse, on June 17, 1953 in Tahlequah. Together they raised three children. Tom enjoyed watching OU football, loved his grandchildren and dogs and could be seen looking for a deal at one of the local flea markets.

Tom is preceded in death by his wife Marcella; his parents; and one sister, Anna Mae Stockwell.

Tom is survived by his three children, Brenda and husband Paul Driscoll of West Deptford, N.J., Tommy Seitz and wife Theresa of Oklahoma City, and Jimmy Seitz and wife Cindy of Muskogee. He is also survived by one sister, Lila Seitz Perse of Stillwell, and brother-in-law, Kenneth Perse of Wyandotte; five grandchildren, Jon Morris of West Deptford, N.J., Corey Seitz of Muskogee, Collin (Allyson) Seitz of Tapei, Taiwan, Shane Seitz of Chickasha, and Fallon Seitz of Oklahoma City; one great-grandchild, Hannah Seitz of Tapei, Taiwan; special family members, Donna Ramsdell of Tahlequah, Ramona Brown and husband Steve of Stilwell, Sara and husband, Larry Payton of Tahlequah and Jamie and husband Brad Hale of Tahlequah; as well as a host of friends and loved ones.

The family would like to express sincere appreciation to the staff of Professional Home Hospice, the staff and management of Dogwood Independent Living in Muskogee, as all of the wonderful staff at the Muskogee VA Hospital who cared for Dad during his illness. All of their kindness was greatly appreciated.
