Don H. Wade, 93, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home, Monday, March 16, 2026.

Mr. Wade was born October 27, 1932, in Cookson, Oklahoma, to the late Willie Robert Wade and Helen Ester Robbins Wade. He graduated from Bagley High School in 1950. He served in the United States Army and served in the Korean War.

Mr. Wade was a carpenter who started out building houses and then later started his own business, Wade’s Cabinet Door Shop in Tahlequah.

He was an avid hunting and fisherman. He was also a family man who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and they always loved his storytelling. Mr. Wade also loved working in his gardens, watching OU and Dallas Cowboys play football on television, country western music, dancing, and splitting wood, among lots of other hobbies he enjoyed doing.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae Harrison Wade, whom he married September 3, 1999, in Bentonville, Arkansas; two sons, Kip (Kim) Wade and Scotty (Amber) Wilkins; two daughters, Cindy Lou (Danny) Norton and Angela Duvall; thirteen grandchildren, Jesse Forrest, Lindsey West, April Lowery, Dillon Wade, Julie Clark, Emaly Wilkins, Ethan Wilkins, Ian Wilkins, Emmett Wilkins, Finn Wilkins, Lacey Ann Roberts, Jonathan Brewer, and Brooklyn Brewer; ten great-grandchildren, Kylie Lowery, Kyndall Lowery, Ellie Wade, Jack Wade, Christopher Williams, Landon Williams, Victoria Williams, Audrey Brewer, Evan Brewer, and Mary Ann Harris; one brother, Earl Ray Wade; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Mr. Wade was preceded in death by his parents, a great-granddaughter, Anatasia Brewer, and a sister, Louise Mabry. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 22, 2026, 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at Hart Funeral Home in Tahlequah.

Graveside services will be held Monday, March 23, 2026, 2:00 PM, at Molly Fields Cemetery in Tahlequah.
