Shirley Oglesby

Shirley Oglesby
March 28, 1935 ~ February 9, 2026

Shirley Oglesby passed away peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday February 9th in Southlake, Texas at the age of 90.

Born in Blackwell, Oklahoma on March 28, 1935, Shirley spent her life as an insurance administrator, banker, accountant and a loving mother and wife. Shirley made sure her children and family came first no matter the effort required. As the family matriarch Shirley's strong will focused energy and attention to every detail insuring that family events included all of the extended family and had that special something required to forever brand a memory for life.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Charles T Oglesby and is survived by her two children Kay and husband Jon Sutton; Charles T III and his wife Toni Oglesby; five grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

Shirley was loved by many and will be missed by all. Rest Well.....
