Ricky was born to Versie Cobb Martin and Raymond Martin and grew up in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Ricky lived, for the last 20 plus years, in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Ricky was preceded in death by his mother, Versie Cobb Martin and his father Raymond Martin, brother David Martin, brother Danny Green, niece Debbie Green and sister-in-law Cora Green. Ricky leaves behind his brother Jimmie Green, his children and grandchildren; brother Joe Green and wifeBecky Green, their children and grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ricky had a very troubled life from the day he was born until the day he passed away. He was loved by his family, tremendously, even through they had their ups and downs ... The love was still present and true.
Ricky also had some really good friends that he depended on and that depended on him. They always looked out for each other and were there to give an encouraging word when the world felt heavy.
Ricky is now at peace, for the first time in his life, go rest high- Ricky!
A graveside service will be 11 am, Thursday, October 8, 2026 at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ cemetery in Welling, OK. Their will be no public viewing.
